Sadly, there is no cure. While waiting for its reoccurrence, you may be able to prolong remission by repeating this mantra while shaving: The true key to happiness is not having every razor you want, but wanting every razor you have. I have used this to successfully prolong remission for up to a month.

Yeah, I thought I was cured. In the last three weeks I bought 4 razors.

Haven't bought a razor this month... Of course, I did buy three Simpson Manchurian Badger brushes in the last week...

Thanked: 4830There is not much that I have to have right now. As a result my bids are all low and nothing seems to be getting me very excited either. I keep looking but I am still looking and not buying much. Right now I have very restricted internet and a heavy homework load and that helps too. When I saw who the post was by I thought you were going to tell us you had finished your physio and had never felt better. I still hope it's true even if it was not the post I was hoping to see.

Roger I think we have been at this about the same time, I am that way now. I never really got into Ebay and fixing , but I was always on the hunt for a better custom, and sone of the nicer razors. Now I really am selective before I even look at one. It really has to be special now, either a NOS that I really want , or another custom that has features I've learned to like, but I really haven't been looking anymore. I,m very happy with what I have. By the way get better , it's riding season. Tc

Looks like i had a relapse. It's a silver steel with mop inlay and a big bug bite in the back scale. 6/8 and from what i can see in the photo very little if any hone wear. the back side of the blade has a little surface rust that should clean up nicely. I will have to make a new back scale so i will look for a piece of 1/8 horn.Last edited by rhensley; 03-02-2016 at 01:57 PM.
