what kind of finish did you use on that bowl Mike? Turned out beautiful.

I went with a beeswax paste after sanding to 600 for quite some time.
End grain took forever to clean up all the tool marks sadly.
Still struggling with swooping cuts on bowls.
Thank goodness there is sandpaper to soften our mistakes.

I get most of the shoes off Ebay - these were from someone selling them for about $1.25 each but has since raised the price. I get a lot of the that are used/dirty/rusty and sand blast them myself. My wife does competitive trail riding so she is involved with horse people and I get asked to make them.
