30 + years ago my brother worked with a guy who was a huge SnapOn fan. However my brother said that SnapOn wouldn't replace the guy's sockets that were worn out. So this guy would weld a nut to a bolt, put them in a vice, crank on them with a worn out socket on a breaker bar and a length of pipe and have my brother hit the socket with a hammer. That would cause the socket to spit and THEN SnapON would replace it. :gaah: Attachment 288407
I have some SnapOn tools but none are worn out and I don't know if they now replace worn out sockets etc or not. :shrug:
