Thanked: 1American Chopper and Australia
I'm watching an episode of American Chopper in which the guys went to Australia.
It's a very interesting show. I finally understand the "drop bear" comment on the pig thread
They also climbed the Sydney Harbor bridge which proves they either have more guts or less brains than me (400+ feet high)
There's other stuff too that I think gives a nice view of at least a small portion of the little island off the coast of New Zealand.
To state the obvious - Australia looks beautiful.

Thanked: 150I was a foreign exchange student to Australia, and lived in Oyster Bay, a suburb of Sydney. The people are top notch, and the country is georgeous. I have to say that the trip down under has been one of the highlights of my life. I miss the VB, there is just not a comparable beer here in the States. I have also spent a summer in New Zeland, and it is a totally different experience. Not better or worse, just different. If you ever get the chance to travel to either country, jump on the chance, and don't look back. You will never regret it.
