Thread: Tell us about your trip Mr. Martini

Allright Custom,
You drop a few hints here and there about a trip you took to the mainland, but don't give us any details. What's up? I want details, and not about the hard water either!!

yeah, cm, where'd ya go?....and why didn't you stop by while you were in town??? ....(anything on the mainland is 'in town' )

Sorry Gents, wasn't trying to drop hints or anything.
I just went to So Cal for the weekend. By precious better half need a vacation and I was long over due for one too, so we went to Visit a good friend (whose birthday falls on memorial day weekend) and did the disneyland thing.

I was hoping to get to Santa Barbara and raid this antique shop I went to last time I was there (pre SRP) mostly for Vargas Prints, but you never know .

So here's the rundown on the trip (with a few days running into it)

Tuesday: get a phone call telling me that I have to book two more nights at the Days Inn (friend's family flew in from out of country, ursuping my spot in the guest room).


Friday: Arrive In LAX and get to hotel. Freshen up and head to Downtown Disney. Spend (precious Razor) money in ways only women can understand.. Your dog needs Mickey ears!?
Get back to hotel and check e-mail...oh no Santa Barbara canceled by friend, San Diego instead (wish I had more notice...could have ordered more mead and sat with Mark in a cafe somewhere...and where is Lou?).

Saturday: Hard Water... LOL Disneyland day...all day. My sister was also there as was her BF, Daughter, and her BF's niece and son. Needless to say, my niece was feeling left out so was clinging to Uncle Martini (I had the money...)

Sunday: San Diego. My Fiend Finally met up with us and gave brought me the three boxes I had shipped to her. Two boxes of MEAD from two different companies and three tubs of Nancy Boy S. cream (very nice. BTW). Still wish I had more notice. Sat there in the car thinking ...should I try to e-mail JMS from San Diego...Had a blast there .

Monday: The 12 hour Disney Marathon...nothing to say about that really, just me, Mickey, My other half, and about 300 Cheerleaders, and 200 College coeds that I had to pretend not to look at...

Yep, nothing special. I would like to note that a three day diet of pretzels and kettle corn is bad for your stomach, though.

But worry not men, I've already put in on my agenda to visit Sea World land and Potato Land (never been) to visit the brewer/baker/ok-I'm-goona-cut-this-one-short-because-Mark-does-everything guy and the Whatever/food-cake guy with a razor named "Mon Cherie" in their respective stomping grounds...

OK!....






....I feel better, now.

Oh, by the way, I'm actually 45 minutes north east of San Diego proper and about 25 minutes east of Escondido! I'm still in San Diego County though. If you go to the SRP google map, the marker for where I live is right on top of my roof!
