FedEx and UPS work greatly but now they seem to have some problems here in Italy. I'm waiting 2 razors now and, looking at the tracking, one says they tried to deliver but I wasn't at home (none rang at my door) and another says I moved, while it's 3 years I've been in the same house....

USPS is by far the best service to Ireland from the USA. FedEx and ups suck, They don't operate here, so its all contracted out and the service sucks. usually costs 30-50 euro and you track it across the USA and Europe over night and once it gets here it sits in a warehouse for a week what a rip.
I got the Bill Ellis CD here in 3 days, it came in a small padded envelope the postage cost was $1.28, how could you beat that. Most stuff sent regular post from the USA takes 4-5 days.
USPS and An Post get my vote
    my 2 cents.

Don't ship to Canada via the UPS. They charge outrageous brokerage fees every time.

    Josh,
I now use First Class Mail International. One does give up both tracking and delivery confirmation (and insurance) with this but I see no other way to make ordering even close to affordable for my overseas customers. Having not lost only one package in 2 years I am willing to cover the risk myself. The rates for that service are similar to what Global Priority was before the rate hike. To the UK and OZ strops are running $15-16 and sets more like $20. Canada fares far better with strops close to $10, sets around $15.

UPS adds a huge brokerage fee to it's shipping on the buyers end, easily $20 or more so avoid it at all costs.

    Hi there,

in the past I have been really happy with american ebayers shipping my won items by USPS Global Flat Rate Envelopes from the U.S.A. to Germany.
This service was usually charged with something between 6,50 $ to 11,00 $, depending on how many st8s I had bought.

By now, shipping with the same service is mostly offered at charges of at least 12,50 $ up to 20,00 $?

Since there might be some members here who ship goods to Germany or elsewhere overseas on occasions I would like to know if this has to do with regular raised shipping cost in the U.S.A.?

    Thanks in advance

    Scarface Germany,
International costs have nearly doubled as well. 6 ounces to Germany, the weight of a razor in a flat rate envelope is a minimum of $11 now. In a flat rate box it would be double that.

The new rates affect both domestic and International shipping.
