Proud to say the least
Well guys I,m going to go ahead a puff out my chest a little, Wednesday afternoon my grandson graduates from the Fire Academy here in Memphis. He's going to follow a bit of a tradition in my family, me and one brother are the only ones who are in the oilfield. We have a few firemen and police officers in the family.
My son as some may know is a paramedic in the St. Louis fire department, my son in law is a 22 year veteran with the memphis fire department a so on and so on.
So I am proud of him for what he has chosen to do, and a little worried. It was just a couple years ago my son was in Ferguson Mo. In the riot and it was a stressful time. But a nobler profession there is none.
thanks for listening. Tc“ I,m getting the impression that everyone thinks I have TIME to fix their bikes”

I know you are so proud of your grandson. Glad he is doing something he wants to do. Not everyone can do that job. It's one of those fields were it is "a calling".
I hope he stays safe and makes a difference in saving people's lives.
Is it over there or over yonder?
