Fort McMurray fires.
Fort McMurray in Alberta is being devastated by raging forest fires. 80,000 people evacuated! I couldn't imagine having to go through all that. Keep those people in your thoughts and prayers. Also please keep the firefighters, police, EMS and anyone else who is there to help the people and to combat these fires in your thoughts and prayers. That they will all be safe and unharmed while doing their duties..
I'm thinking with the dry weather....a LOT more fires will happening in North America this year.

Is it over there or over yonder?

I will,,,,,,,,,,,,, when my problems begin to bother me, all I do is look over my fence & quickly they subside to a manageable level.

The dry weather has started early for us here, can only imagine what a tinderbox it's going to be later on this summer.
The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.

So sorry to witness this devastation. All people near the scene of that inferno will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Got myself permanently banned over at the other place over this event.
Started a thread which had the link to the Red Cross donations link in it. this is a no-no and they removed the thread and sent me a PM to inform me of same and why. Fair enough, it's their site, their rules.
But I guess my response (yeah, whatever) was not properly humble enough in it's tone for the powers that be.
C'est la vie . . .

If a person wants to donate to this cause or any other cause..... The Red Cross is searchable or any other charity.
It's a person's choice to help out or not.... But to to be banned over a link? A little extreme I think. Is it over there or over yonder?

I think it was more about my lack of humility in response to their pulling the original thread.
I guess I should have begged for forgiveness. Oh well . . .
Texting "Fires" to 30333 will cost you a tenner, but the Government will match those funds dollar for dollar.

Thanked: 220That fire is something else, extremely out of control. At least most have been evacuated to safety, but God bless those still in Fort McMurray, along with all of the people who are there dealing with the disaster and fighting the fire.
