Hi!
Hey all! Some of you all may remember me, most will not. Fact is I was pretty active here for quite some time when ... life. Two kids, a new job, dad died, mom went crazy, bla, bla, bla! Life.
Anyway, I think about the forum often, and you know, I have to give a huge shout to the community as a whole. What was once a chore, became an obsession - and even when life got a bit crazy, though I did fall for a while, at least I only fell as far as a DE. Fact is, I have been enjoying a Feather Artist Club for a while there too. But there is nothing like my straights ...
I missed them. That said here recently, I took some time off and just stuck around the house. I looked at my collection of straights, knowing every one of them was ready to go, and pulled out the first straight I ever owned, a Dovo 4/8. Stropping it was heaven, shaving with it as even better. I think I'll be using a traditional straight for a while again. Though I have to shave at night because brother, I can't get it together before my 8am mornings.
Anyway, I trust all is well here and I hope to contribute some more. I'm going to be buying some new hones so look for me there lol. But for now, I'm off to a job interview. Wish me luck!David

I was wondering too! Was just reading some of your old posts about honing. Wondering if you were still on this planet or not. Glad you are! Welcome back.

Good to hear from you!"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
