    Excellent!

I'm blessed with English, Irish, Scottish and French, and the inner turmoil, fear and rage that goes with it.....the English side is a teetotaller, my Irish wants to buy everyone a drink and get p$ssed, and the Scottish side of me is too cheap to pay and the French side just wants to run away from it all....

'IF' you really want to wreck havoc with those wasp nest. Get your ass out of bed in the middle of the night and then spray them as they will all be 'HOME'. If you wait till daylight then you won't get all of them.

When I was a young boy I found a hornet's nest on my grandparent's place and I excitley ran to tell them. My grandfather slowly walked out to see and said; "We'll come back tonight".

When we did it was pitch black and my grandfather took a match out of his pocket and lit it. Then he touched the bottom of the nest and WHOOOF the nest went up in flames. My grandfather then just slowly walked back to the house with me trailing along.

In the morning at breakfast my grandfather said; "Go out and look at where the hornet nest was" and when I did there were all of these hornets crawling around on the ground. When I told grandpa what I found he said; "they can't fly and they will starve to death".

I never forgot that lesson. While wasp nests are different than hornets, they all gather back at the nest as darkness approaches.
Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.

We used to Bag the nest on a cold night and freeze them in the chest freezer, the larva make great fish bait.

I sneaked down there this morning at day light and attacked. It was a massacre. Dead wasp everywhere. No Quarter. I danced the dance of joy.

Just sprayed one on my eves (hornet nest) with some 20 ft. spray I got from Lowe's. Worked well. It dissolved the nest, which I though was pretty cool. Would've liked to keep the nest to look at, but when the spray hit it it started to fall apart like wet rags. It was the size of a cantaloupe. I had to walk the roof and get kind of close, but when I unleashed the spray they fell LIKE RAIN!!

Nests? A real old tapered-side glass half-full of gasoline. Takes talent! Gas comes flying out fast as-strewn at the opposing nest.

Learned this as a youngster working and clearing power right-of-ways.
Hit it right, they all fall like flies.
    Either way, splash and run!
So essentially the best way to deal with a wasp nest is a modified Molotov cocktail? Might be a little over kill.

If I saw one of those on my house, I'd burn the ****er down to the ground.
