I could not agree more. Thanks, OCDshaver, for making that point.

Can we possibly get back to the discussion of the RNC now, please? Thank you.

We don't care, myself and many like me would rather take a chance on Trump then the known cesspool of Clintonian rule..
It really is just that simple now
Here let me quote it again for ya
PS: You should note that is was addressed to the RNC
Sorry Glen. I didn't realize you were an indiscriminate dismissive. All along I thought you were more discerning. My mistake. Your first comment highlighted above clearly identifies your position. It's well understood that during critical decisions making the absence of logical thinking quickly fosters confusion, and irrational actions i.e. "take a chance". I completely understand your position now.

Your second comment succinctly supports your thinking process. "It really is just that simple now". That says it all.

So you're saying the current geopolitical situation is Bush/Cheney's fault? And of course the republican majority supreme court who decided Bush v. Gore? Here I thought it was all Obama's fault. I may have to change my thinking on this one.

    Please pardon me.
As I read the heated debate, with posts flinging all sorts of nasty stuff with emotionally comprised abandon, about a topic that takes years of study and then years of wisdom to understand, I was swept up.. no flushed down a proverbial toilet. At this point I made the hasty decision to partake in the futility of communicating some of life's great mysteries in the space a comic strip needs to exist.
This was foolish of me. Please accept my apology for this, and also for not giving more explanation, examples, and citing my sources in a reference section.
Really actually I should've known better.

Have I ever told you about how I like to shave? Don't get around to it often enough, but I do like it, and love the cool gear, and the great people here.
Let me help you with this Mike. Let's start with the point at which the 2 party system hijacked the process somewhere around the mid 1800's. That might be one that was lost.

Oh and ....... shaving discussed on the 1st floor.

Yes it really is that simple,, The critical decisions were made nearly a year ago, and this is what we have now..
Clinton beat Sanders by whatever means necessary
    Trump won "The Hunger Games"

Deal with it, cast yer vote for who you like if you are able, if you didn't cast a Primary vote shame on you

I agree, shaving is on the 1st Floor

I like to display our flag on National Holidays. I started displaying my outdoor flag full time when our troops went into harms way as a sign of our support of our troops. I was hoping to take it down when they come home. I have replaced my flag eight times now. I also proudly display my father's flag in our home. That's just me.

What you all do or don't do is your business. Either way it dos not make you or me any more or less an American. We have the freedom to or not to and for me that is good. Our flag means many things to many people.

Personally I like to see lots of our flag at National events but that's just me.

It's not that i'm that interested on who's going to be your next president. There will be some dissapointed people who were fooled to believe the person they voted for. Just like it's been before. People never learn.

But specially this conversation reminds me of so many alikes from countries/places with two party system: a nation divided.

Makes me feel pessimistic. We get the world we deserve, like they said in a movie.

The history goes in cycles. There are times of builders and then those who tear apart. Doesn't need to be Einstein to find out what we are living now. Hope i'm wrong.

If that's in fact true, it's not only bizarre, abnormal and shocking, it would be something IMO that should cause deep concern. While having the USA flag absent in a U.S. political convention may seem trivial to some, to me it's deeply disturbing. If this is true: Shame on them.
