Would you care to prove (facts, not feelings) which of these findings are wrong, and why? Thank you. What we know about illegal immigration from Mexico | Pew Research Center

Thanked: 734I never said that those findings were wrong. I don't know if they are correct or not. Here is what I do know about the current administrations efforts to control illegal immigration.

Who cares
The US Border is porous,,,, period
And honestly coming from a German who's country just opened the floodgates into all of europe, I really don't see you as qualified to discuss US Immigration Policy ..
If by chance I am around in 40 years remind me to ask you how that worked out as I will probably not remember at 97 ....

Thanked: 3215It is not so much the illegal immigration but what it brings with it. Drugs, Gang Violence, a large drain on resources, and now massive Democratic pandering.
The Democrats have seen the illegal immigration as a potential, large pool of voters.
Surprisingly, here in California the majority of the Hispanic community is anti-illegal immigration and pro “building the wall”, because they live here and see what it has brought.
Like any ethnicity there are no clear voting block and there is no Hispanic Leader who speak for all, but you are not getting the whole picture from the media or reading a bias study.
The demonstrators and many of the speakers at the DNC are illegal immigrants and of course they are the most vocal, or at least the ones the media chooses to put on camera.
But guess what, they don’t get to vote… The more they wave the Mexican flag… the more they make Trump’s point…
And as you well know Trump is not saying no immigration, legal immigration and filter just some of the problems out. If we do nothing, nothing will change.
It is easy to solve the US’s problems from the other side of the world, but you might sing a different tune if you walked just, 2 blocks through some of US’s ghettos, in the middle of the night, unarmed.
I can tell you for a fact, even here in LA, the local news does not even report shooting and deaths in the ghettos. They occur daily, in Compton alone 26 have died this year, 2 this weekend, hundreds of shooting and stabbings. Compton is experiencing a gang war between Illegal Alien gangs and Black gangs, over…drugs.
But then, I don’t suppose Obama spends a lot of time in the ghettos either…
Did you notice Michelle’s bullet proof vest, at the DNC?

May I humbly suggest that you tell that, for example, Mr Romney? Or Mr Ryan? Or Mr Bush? Or...?
Is that a question? If so, the answer is, you do, or else, why bother replying?
Funnily enough, it is also porous in places where it has been built according to Trumpian specifications. Does that not make you question the feasibility of this idea just a tiny little bit?
That, Glen, is a not a very nice thing to say, you know? It is almost as if someone said, "And honestly, Glen, coming from a country that willingly accepted inferior razors ground by apprentices, I really don't see you as qualified to discuss German razors." But no one would say such a thing, would they? Because it would be divisive, insulting, and stupid.

Does the phrase "hominem unius libri timeo" mean anything to you? Because it should.
That said, your reply translates into, "I do not believe what you say, despite it coming from a non-partisan source, but I demand that you take what has been regurgitated by the semi-official news outlet of White Power USA for granted."
I am sorry, but I am not willing to do that. But I encourage you to read this: https://georgewbush-whitehouse.archi...s/immigration/. It might help you focus.
