    Can't call myself a pigeon lover, but I'm not a pigeon hater either.

    A lot of gundog people keep pigeons as an inexpensive training tool ... IF your dog will point them! Some dogs won't, and some do, only halfheartedly. Anyway, our pigeons were never harmed, and always returned to the loft unscathed. So, basically, I like to see pigeons, and I would help one out also, if I could.
