You know two countries have pretty decent relations when an unintentional drunken invasion, spearheaded by folks in a panic over the possible repercussions of their incursion, is met by a reaction of "Relax dudes, just get in the bus and we'll get you home in time for supper..."

Yea, you won't find that in too many other places and it certainly isn't the Trump method. Hell, CBSA has given me a harder time trying to get back into my own country.

They should have been jailed for a few months, taken to court, released on their own recognizance, and allowed to start mooching off the government.
