Thread: Strike while the irons hot.

My wife and I was driving through Jackson Tn Tuesday and a friend called me and ask if i would puck up some parts from Bumpus Harley Davison dealer. Of course I said yes. I never need an excuse to to the harley shop but when ones present i acknowledged. While in there we looked around a little. (till she dragged me out by the ear) I got the parts and came home. Wednesday morning we were eating breakfast and she said and I quote Honey I think you need to get a new bike. I really think i was 2 miles down the road before my fork hit the plate. I traded my 06 heritage for a 16 Street Glide Special. Color is Velocity Red. looks close to a candy apple red. It was a used bike. It had 763 miles on it. No photos yet but there will be. It's going to take a little while for me to get use to the size and comfort of this heavenly vehicle.

Wow!!!! congrats on the new bike and most of all the SWMBO!! still waiting to hear words like "honey don't you think it's time you bought a new straight razor/woodworking tool/leather working tool etc.

Just love and affection.

I am quite certain my wife will never say that to me. In fact I tend to get the exact opposite, she has mentioned that I should sell my bike a few times.

Wonder what she either already bought or will be buying soon LOL

To be Honest what ever she wants. We're older now and retired and she know what we can afford and what we can't. I've never seen a brinks truck following a hearse.
