Thanked: 146Just Plain Weird
You guys have anything strange happen like this?
I woke up this morning because my cell phone was beeping. So I get up and go through the morning routine, shower, shave, make the coffee, and out the door I go. Look at the car clock as I pull onto the road and realize it is 2:00 in the morning ( I usually leave at 5)! Talk about a Pavlovian response, here the beep from my phone wasn't the alarm clock, it was an alert for a text message.....Not a good start to the day...lol, but it sure beats waking up dead!

I have had kinda the opposite experience.
Got home in the late afternoon a couple years ago tired and decided to take a nap before going out with some friends. Got up at 8:00 shaved, got dressed and ready to go out then realized it was 8:00 AM the next day.
Guess I was a lot more tired than I thought.

Thanked: 4828I had worked a ton of overtime for weeks on end. Then it came to a point where we had caught up and I got off at 2pm. I was exhausted and went home and fell asleep on the couch. I woke up at 7 and rushed to get to work for 7:30. When I arrived people were drinking beer and lounging because it was pm not am. I did not have to be at work for another 12 hours.

I woke up one morning late for the school bus; didn't even have time to brush my teeth or eat.
Threw my clothes on, grabbed my gun & ran outside to catch the bus.
Then the daylight woke me up, as I stared at the neighbors house, I was 35 years old.
Walked back into the house, crawled back in the bed pi$$ed off.

I had a problem with the daylight savings once. When the clocks went forward I forgot change mine. I was supposed to be teaching a Sunday school class, but when I arrived they were all leaving; someone else took the class in my place. That was twenty five years ago and if I see any of the kids (now adults obviously) that's still the first thing they remind me of...

My wife and I once showed up for a house party with a bottle of wine in hand exactly 24 hrs late. The host opened the door in her PJ's, obviously tired and still hung over from the actual party, looked at us and said ah ..... it was last night. Not another word was said. I handed her the bottle of wine and we silently walked back to our car. We got back in the car and immediately burst out laughing so hard we had tears running down our faces. Just too funny.

I have had something similar happen to me before, same ol' story.
What is funny, back in college, I would dream that I had forgotten about a class I signed up for. Usually about 6 weeks into the semester. I would wake up at 3am after this dream and freak out, checking my schedule for the class. I would find out, to my great relief, that that typically bizarre class wasn't in my schedule or even existed at any school.
