I've got a Sister In Law who is Filippina. Their ee's are I's as well.
When she first came to the states my Mom had a heckuva time understanding her, and nearly died when she said something about a
cookie sh*t, meaning of course a cookie SHEET.

Personally, I don't think I'm cut out for a pinoy wife lol, I'm too independant and Sis in Law is too bossy (she was a school teacher in P.I.). We have had knock down drag out fights, but when I about died in the hospital Mom said she was crying like a baby.

Those are PERFECT!!! What a hoot! While there are some major cultural and behavioural differences between Filipinos and Thais, there are SO many similarities....I especially liked the way the Aunt would point with her lips (in 'Mixed Nuts')...the Thais use their chin, but the effect is the same. Culturally, it's not polite to point a finger at someone or something...(you can get in a major brawl by pointing a finger at someone in Thailand). And the rambling father, and the generational/cultural frustrations between the kids (raised in the US) and the traditional parents...perfect! Johnmw1 ought to appreciate these, too.

These are rare...are they clips from a TV show, or are they produced just for the internet?

She has a meet and greet happening with her fans on 7/7/07, I would be there in a flash if I could, and perhaps we could introduce hubby to the finer things in life like straight razor shaving. But perhaps I will need a proxy instead, any takers?

I'm glad that someone else noticed that she is playing all the parts. Funny thing, she seems to be able to turn her accent on and off. I've only met a few Filipinos that can do that.

Althought she is a ver y good looking Visian, If you want to see some really good looking pinays, come to hawaii. We have them all, Togalog, Ilocano, Visians, take your pick.
