    They have catfish in South America to make that guy look like a midget.

    Red tail catfish. One of the most common catfish found in the Amazon also a invasive species in some parts of Florida. [emoji3]

    The scientific name of this species is (Phractocephalus hemioliopterus). This is the South American version. There's also a Asian version (Hemibagrus wyckioides) that doesn't get any where near as big. That one is rather large considering that they typically only get around five feet but it's not unheard of to find them around that size.

    I know them as channel cats (catfish). I saw a big lunker 'like' this that was caught from behind a dam long time ago.
