Noooooooo!
On a side note, I heard on the news a few weeks ago that at the rate the millennials consume coffee, there could be a coffee shortage in the very near future. I guess Starbucks now has another reason to raise their prices on top on the minimum wage increase that passed in November in most states. Grrrrr! Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???

Back in the days of gas shortages during one of Johnny Carson's monologues on the Tonight Show he said something about the military not receiving it's quota of toilet paper and quipped that he guessed that meant that there would be a shortage of toilet paper.
Toilet paper flew off the shelves! Warehouses couldn't keep up with the demand and it trickled over to manufacturing. The family run store I worked in might order 15 cases and receive 2.
Carson time and time again went public saying it was just an off hand joke, but the damage was done.
It took months for things to settle back down to normal.
OH! I agree, don't mess with bacon. Pickled pigs feet might be OK but not bacon! Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.

Was just covered by CBS. It is the frozen reserved pork bellys that are short.
Also, cats will not be judged as part of the Westminster dog show.If you don't care where you are, you are not lost.

Thanked: 481People do seem to like their panic buying. Seems like just about any little thing is susceptible to that whether it's toilet paper, ammo, food...Sometimes I wonder if the newscasters don't have stock in grocery stores and say "There may be a shortage on..." to give their bottom line a bump.
