Oprah for prez in 2020?
Huffpo has reported that Oprah might consider running for prez in 2020.
While my wife can't stand her and I know many other women who can't as well, many women worship her. I've thought that centuries from now a religion of some sort may be spawned from the teachings of Oprah...Last edited by ChrisL; 03-01-2017 at 06:42 PM.

I'm looking at it objectively. It's an interesting idea. I think she's overall quite popular in the U.S. I don't know about any skeletons in her closet. Given she's the head of a billion dollar plus empire though and has no progeny it might be more difficult for her to divest herself from her corporations as competely as the public would apparently expect.

Thanked: 734I read that Matt Drudge was hoping to see that happen. My reaction is/was, be careful what you wish for. Trump is still a widely divisive candidate and there are millions of people that would vote for a head of cabbage over him. Do you really want to see a widely popular black woman run against him? If Oprah ran against him last year she may have given last nights speech.
