    Default Sheffield Steel Shortage!?

I don't know if you US based folks saw this, but the city of Sheffield and large parts of the county of Yorkshire in the UK got seriously flooded yesterday. Large parts of the city were under up to 2m of water, and the foundry Sheffield Forgemasters got flooded out too.

Hundreds of folks were stranded in their offices and in random buildings, with rescue helicopters and boats working all evening/night to bring them to safety!

    Some pics here.

    And some video footage.

    Sadly 3 people died.

But it seems the flood waters are receding now. Apart from a dam which is danger of bursting and flooding a large area, they've had to close the M1 motorway which is the main North-South route connecting London with the North of England!

Sorry to hear that and not just b/c of the steel. My condolences to the families.
