Thanked: 351Moving on to the "If you can look up, you can get up" scenario, it appears that no amount of procrastination will save my cherished shaving stuff....
So, in the next few days I'll be posting some more gear for sale. I've really looked long and hard at my hones. I'm not giving up shaving, but I'm only keeping what I really really really need.... The problem has been, every time I pull something off the shelf, it goes back on the shelf into the do not sell pile.
I guess seeing I'm not enjoying my gear, but rather just sitting here worrying about $, I might as well start selling stuff again. Not worrying so much about the bills might make for a nice change. I've fallen into a slump and even resorted to shaving with a DE again. The good news is that as I'm retired, I'll have time to skulk about the flea-markets and snag all those great deals before the working stiffs find some spare time.
Regards

Thanked: 351Funny day so far,
I decided to open the storage box where I keep all my razors and force myself to go through them to put to each side, keepers and sellers.... after the first 24 razors... there were zero on the 'sell' side and 24 razors on the 'keep' side.
Other than some fondling, the exercise was a waste of time.
Tomorrow, I'll have to try again.... maybe some more bills in the mailbox will motivate me....

Though I'm known here for "off the cuff" comments, most are a weak attempt at humor; what I'm going to say is not meant to be such.
We times get hard with lots of problems stacking up, I fall back to this saying,
" How does a Pygmy eat an elephant?"
"One bite at a time."
I start with that first bite on an issue I can swallow. I have discovered that once I get in motion on dealing with the issues, the pressure eases up & I actually feel much better. My focus on the overall situation becomes clearer & it is never as big as it was before I got going.
By being in motion, no matter how slow, energizes me. Making progress is a remarkable drug that can cure a lot of our worries.
Just my thoughts,,,,,
