The Child of My Child Has Me Believing in the Future
Parents and, especially grandparents will understand my unbridled pride when they watch this video made by my daughter and granddaughter. I can only hope that there are at least a million children her age, almost 12, in this world because it would give me hope that there are light, understanding and civility in our future still.

What an awesome project and a great journey. At almost 12 I have to think she has great depth of thought to have even imagined the project. She was also very well spoken in the video. Congratulations to all three generations. I am betting everyone is rather proud.

Very enjoyable video; I'll have my son watch it tomorrow.
I would walk 2 miles for that apple pie I saw in there; the whole pie.

John, she was named Isobel but decided six years ago that she was to be called Izland. I'll fight you for the apple pie.
A little tale about her. When she was five and a great story teller in the budding stage she asked her mother to get her a lawyer because she was concerned that the Walt Disney company was going to steal her stories.

Appel Pie, Cherry Pie, Coconut Cream pie, almost any kind of pie makes my tired soul weep. No longer may I participate heartily in life. WARNING!!! Live everyday as if you are getting close to your expiration date. I failed to live hard (not stupid), now I have a collection of dis-ease, and diabetes is one of them, the disease that denies you the privilege to savor any foods. Who would have ever thought that eating could quickly lead you to your expiration date. My oh my, any kind of pie.

Glock27, I am older than you and also have diabetes. What I have learned, to extend the expiration date, is moderation in all things (with minor excursions into occasional gluttony.) Chocolate pie or cake is my downfall. I was known as the chocolate cake king since any time one was put in front of me half would instantly disappear. I indulge once a week, or less often, in a small slice of cake or pie and eat it very slowly, savoring each and every bite. I'm at the point where I am looking at more insidious factors concerning my expiration date. Once known there won't be enough bakeries locally to supply the chocolate cakes to be devoured at that time.
