Chris Cornell RIP 1964-2017
Chris Cornell, one of my generation, lead singer of Soundgarden, dead at 52...reading that he may have checked himself out.
Scott Weiland and now Chris Cornell, two outstanding singers and talents....RIP.

A sad thing. Artists are quite complex people. Such a great talent gone.

Yet another premature loss of an extremely talented musician. How very sad to hear this news. I started college at the U of W in Seattle when grunge took off, and now so many of those groundbreakers are gone.

Thanked: 72Very, very sad news. So many people cared so much about Chris. I dug up this shot I took at a show in 2010. It was an epic night. R.I.P.

Thanked: 2284Garsh, this one hit me hard. Grew up listening to all the grunge music back in the day, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Silerchair, STP, Alice in chains, just to name a few. Some of these songs bring me right back to very specific memories I forgot I had, when I was younger, more foolish and free. The good old days.
Heard this the morning of his death and was pretty upset. The day was great though. I was working by myself, so things were quiet and I was able to listen to Chris's music all day long.
RIP Chris.Burls, Girls, and all things that Swirl....
