Andrew, that is an impressive coffee table. It looks like it doubles as a bench too!

It's a section of a huge oak tree. The way it sits, the tree would be laying on it's side. You can see the rounded sides in front and behind my daughter. to the left and right of her is the end grain. 14 inches thick, 4 feet x 4 feet. When my wife and I saw it at the reclaimed wood furniture store, we had to have it. Unfortunately, it was no where near dry when we bought it and it has changed quite a bit over the last 6 years from it drying. It's on casters, but I have it up on wood blocks that are cupped so it wont move, and also so my Roomba will go underneath it. :)
I would guess it weighs 300/400 lbs. First time we brought it into the house was on a fridge cart. Scary, cause I thought my ceramic tile was all popping as we rolled across it. Wen we moved to our new house, we rolled it onto a heavy duty drop cloth, and 6 of us picked up the cloth corners. luckily, my new place has double doors at the front.
The little ones are awesome aren't they?
Yeah good thing we have a king size bed, the 3 yr old gets in and dad has only about 1 1/2 feet to sleep on. If the bed was any smaller I'd be on the floor......or couch :D

That last one was a bit of a flash back Dave. Once upon a time I had a small hauling and excavating company and my older daughter spent a lot of time in heavy equipment with me. Fond memories for her too. She still has her ear muffs too.

Mobile home?
Watch that stuff, Dave. Normal folks cannot keep up!
Sorry!
Sorry Tom, I'm a coffee junkie :D

No kidding. Let's see.... a Chemex drip, next (I'm guessing here) Yama stovetop vac pot, Baratza Vario-W grinder, Electra Espresso maker and a Bonavita kettle. That black thing to the left of the grinder escapes me, but it looks like a single mug drip maker of some kind.
The only things that seem to be missing are a knock box and a nice tamper.
How did I do? :)
All I see is a a Keuric one cup at a time coffee maker and some of the little expensive one time use coffee cupettes to put in it.

Well maybe a pot of hot water for tea and some sugar etc.
HAR! What you see is that PLUS scads of larger k-cups which will fill that Carafe. Two cases of the large cups came with.
Best part it was FREE! A gift from my daughter as their office was moved to fancier digs.
I will run it all into the ground and replace it with a Mr Coffee! :rofl2:
Pretty cool, though!
