I hate to say it, because I'm pretty sure we have some on here, but cyclists in general (BIcycles, not motorcycles). Around here they tend to ride in packs, and can hang up a country road for miles, not to mention the ridiculous outfits they wear. When they do the Assault on Mount Mitchell (a famous local race that starts here in town), or on a pretty fall day on the Blue Ridge Parkway, you can't get anywhere. I probably just hate 'em because they're all in much better shape than me, though...

Funny, on the other hand I kinda feel sorry for all the poor bastards riding around here on what we call "Liquor-cycles" (mopeds, scooters, etc.), just toolin' along grim-faced at 20mph in every kind of bad weather year 'round. For most of them, a DUI or similar forced them onto SR-22 insurance, which they can't afford, thus the liquor-cycles.

Having said that, I give all of them, and motorcycles, a LOT of following room and never try to pass them in a bad spot that could potentially get them killed if it goes wrong. I used to ride street bikes myself, but wouldn't do it now, in the age of texting, with a gun to my head!!
