    Default For those who carry

I've carried for a long time now. Since the late 70's. I've always had a hard time finding a comfortable inside waste band holster. I recently found a company called WLW. Wrights Leather Works. I ordered a holster from them for my Sig P320 sub compact. I really had my doubts whether or not it would work. So far it's been about a month and a half and it's lived up to it's clam to comfortable and most important of all usable. For those hard to please and are looking for an honest leather holster I would suggest you look them up on the internet. I'm going on a fairly long ride in a few days and this will be the first time I will have left my S&W light weight revolver home and carried the sig.

I've been using Crossbreed IWB's for several years and found them very comfortable. Depending on the time of year and what I'm wearing, my carry varies from Springfield XD-S to Sig P229 to Colt Delta Elite.

I also use a Crossbreed, comfortable and good retention.
I'm just not a fan of all leather holsters with a semi-auto. I carry a Glock, so no safety to prevent the slide from coming back when holstering the weapon.

Glad you are enjoying it though

ETA:Crossbreed also makes some very fine belts, good quality thick leather

Not familiar with Wrights but I'd be hard pressed to find a more comfortable IWB than the Milt Sparks Versa Max II. OTOH, since I picked up the DeSantis Clip Grip for my S&W J frame 357 that is all I carry. The grip is made of a harder polymer than the stock S&W grip so it hammers the hand a bit more when at the range, but it is so convenient that I can live with that.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

It's really each to his or her own. I guess I'm just old and but I like the feel of the leather when it conforms to the body and firearm. The plastic and leather holsters I can't get use to. If I wore a jacket all the time I would use a shoulder rig. Keep the weight off the pants and hip. But in our summers that's just not going to happen.

I totally agree, it's very personal. I choose the Crossbreed Supertuck because it puts leather against the body and Kydex on the belt side. Makes for good retention and easy to re- holster. I use a shoulder rig (Andrews Leather "Monarch") myself during the winter.

    Have to take a look

I pretty much gave up on IWB carry and use a OWB DeSantis most of the time now..

Of course up here in the Wild Wild West "concealability" is an after thought now, we have what is erroneously often called "Constitutional Carry" so basically if you are a Citizen over 21 and can legally own a gun you can carry it however you want Open, or CCW

Same here in Texas. I just prefer that most of the time no-one is aware that I'm carrying. It keeps the snowflakes from melting and if there is a bad guy around, I'm under the radar.

yep, just think, you come upon a situation and you are concealed carry and you be up against a dude who is open carry. All other things being equal who's gonna clear their weapon first?

Depends. If they are ignoring me because they don't know I'm carrying, that's one thing. If they're staring at me, that's another. I try to avoid a straight up gunfight if possible.
