Powers Boothe~1948-2017
I think this is the last actor I knew about but forgot until I saw his pic.
Powers Boothe was born in 1948 & passed away May 14, 2017 from pancreatic cancer-related cardiopulmonary arrest. He was 68 years young.
I remember him in Red Dawn, The Hatfields & McCoys & some other movies.
RIP Powers Boothe, you were taken too soon.

Very good but under rated actor and as far as I know received no recognition for his acting abilities. Rest in peace, you will be missed!

Yes, I know he wasn't that well known, but he was in very few movies I thought were good.

He may not have been as popular an actor as others but he was good enough to accept the acting job as Judge Hatfield & to work with Kevin Costner in The Hatfields & McCoys. I wouldn't want to die the way he did but none of us know what is coming ahead of time except death.

I remember him playing Jim Jones for which he won an emmy. He played Curly Bill Brocius perfectly in Tombstone. I don't recall seeing him in much else as movies/TV haven't been my thing in some years. He had an interesting life, and he married his childhood sweetheart in 1969 until death did them part (his). Check him out in the Wikipedia (on the web, not SRP)

I enjoyed Mr. Boothe's work.
I don't recall any part I saw him play where I thought he did a bad job.
He could play a bad guy that made your skin crawl.
Anybody see him in Sin City?
