The Last Fighter Pilot in WWII
This is fascinating, the last fighter pilot over Japan who is still alive today, Jerry Yellin. A book is now for sale called "The Last Fighter Pilot".

Yeah, his son met a woman in Japan & they wanted to get married. Her father was a kamikaze pilot. It took him a long time to do so but when he finally met this American man, he asked him 5 questions & that was it. They were all about his father & what he did in WWII. Bottom line was, he was a pilot in a P-51 Mustang & the Japanese father told his wife he wanted his daughter to marry him & she became furious. He then explained to her that if his father was a P-51 fighter pilot over Japan, he was a brave man & he wanted that blood to flow in his grandchildren's veins. So fascinating!!!!
