    Default The weather

After the storm that hit texas I really hope that this next one misses the usa and stays out in the ocean. Even if the coast gets a lot of rain it would be better than a direct hit along the coast.

This might be one of the few discussions in this part of the forum where there might be full agreement--as long as climate change is not mentioned.

Thanks for your wishes. We are getting ready. Most have evacuated but some of us are staying. There is no guarantee that shelters are any safer. We are praying for the best but expecting the worst. I am in a beach side condo so wish us luck.

Oh please no. I just got into a slighted heated discussion last night with one of my young, (very), nephews. Blamed it all on us boomers! Sigh.

    Everybody stay safe, stay dry.

OK, I won't comment except to wish everyone in harms way from this storm the best of luck.

The rain ain't the problem; it's all that moisture in the air that gets you.

Irma's coming . . . it's just a question of where that b%$&h hits land. It's too damn big for it to change course that much that quick. Hope everyone in the way stays safe.
