Thread: Today is 911~ We Shall Never Forget

I don't know if anyone posted on today but let's not forget what happened 16 years ago today..................
All who lost their lives are in our prayers & thanks to our emergency crews, police, firefighters & more!

And thanks to our armed forces for fighting for our country.

I never will

I will also never forget

Here, Here! A terrible thing that happened.

Doesn't seem like it was 16 years ago.
I remember where I was going, what I was doing, what the weather was like and everything else about the day like it was yesterday.
I remember the first broadcast of the news over the radio in my truck.
I remember my first thoughts... This sounds like War of the Worlds and can't be true.
I remember what I felt like when I realized that this was really happening.

I drove by that same spot today and got the chills.
It was the same crystal deep blue sky.
All I could do was say a prayer and remember.

Believe me...I will never forget.
