Man that's great to hear! In the states we call 2-year-olds "the terrible two's" as they get themselves into a heap of trouble opening up cookie jars and rummaging through cabinets and the like.
Looks like you're going to have your hands full for the next few years. But they'll be years you'll look back on with great fondness.
Cheers, to you and your family Bruno!

Congratulations Bruno! I'm sure everything will go well.
I wouldn't day "we already know" though, even in this day and age of 4D ultrasound! At our 4-month scan, the doctors told us to expect another boy. We had asked to know because, well, we were both harbouring hopes for a girl this time and didn't want any kind of expectations set up on the big day, so we just decided to find out and cast away all doubt. So they tell us to expect a boy at the scan and we're overjoyed. The next 5 months see us getting ready for a boy -- clothes, names considered, nursery decoration, etc.
Anyway, the big day comes and goes. Baby is late. Takes us through Christmas Day and finally on Boxing Day (26th December) Katie begins her contractions. We call the midwife (we're having a home birth this time) and 4 hours later our baby is born in our bedroom. The midwife says to us:
"What a beautiful baby. Remind me what you were expecting." And we both said, of course, a boy! She just looks at us, holds the baby out in her arms towards us, naked and bloody and says:
"I'd take another look if I were you!" whilst smiling broadly across her face. We look down and...
it's a girl!
My wife and I are laughing and crying at the same time. That was a hell of a moment, I can tell you.
So, it might be a rare occurrence where the medical establishment get it wrong, but it CAN still happen!

Girl children can be quite a handful though when they become teens.. i regularly threaten boarding school, preferably one that looks like a maximum security prison... but i really wanted to send them to Miss Porter's school, where their mother went, but the oldest does not want to be away from home... she said she would do a post high school year at Exeter like i did... perhaps the 10 year old will want to be more like her mother.
Be just and fear not.

Well, In this case we know for really really really sure.
In the beginning, the obstetrician thought my wife's blood test results were a bit out of the expected range, so he advised us to go to the hospital where they do a test of the fluids in the womb.
Basically they stuck a 4" needle in my wife's belly, drained away a couple of cc of water, then took blood samples of me and my wife and performed a full range of tests. (incidentally, this cost us only about 20 euros or so)
On one of those test they checked the chromosomes with a microsocope, so unless they made the same mistake 100 times in a row, we know for sure whether it's a boy or a girl.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

Yep, that sounds as close to 'sure' as you get!
Can't be long now.
