Even in small town America the thieves are thick. All expensive stuff stays in our spare safe until it's time to unwrap. Sad, but true.

One. Of the reason we sold what was at the time our dream home in Bartlett/Cordova, gated community, big house, everything planned by us for us, was because we were burglarized 10 Days before Christmas, stole all the presents under the tree , got electronics and some jewelry, and cash., As I said gated community! Put the house n the market and moved to the country, but still gave to watch out, even here we got a serious security system, and easily reached weapons. What is the world coming too? Before we moved to that house. Didn't even have a key, we never locked our doors. Tc

I remember living in MO in the country back in the late 80s. Doors where never locked and key was always left in the car. Couldnt loose it that way. When we went on a trip we had to spend time trying to find the keys to the house to lock it. We gave up and bought new locks.

Now my wife waits for the mailman to showup so that packages dont sit on the step. I cant get away with packages now days as she will find it fast.

Its just too bad about the way this country and times have become.

On last years ride I stopped by my cousin's home in Simi Valley CA. She lives in a gated community and had to give me the Secret Bat Code to get past the locked gates.

I parked my bike, put the lock on the forks, locked the ignition. I then unstrapped my luggage and brought it inside. When she saw what I did she reassured me that it would have been safe left on my bike. I looked her straight in the eye and said; "You don't think thieves live in a gated community? Well I do".

When I was working I used to make daily visits to the county jail and the day after Thanksgiving they put a big sign over the booking desk, X number of Shoplifting Days left until Christmas.

The neighbor's car got hit last night. He asked me today if my videos covered his; no they did not, his car is 10 yards outside of my videos.

So tonight I installed another video that covers all my neighbors cars.

They caught a man stealing packages down the road, on many cameras. He was picked up a last later.

It never seems to fail--just when you need to see what had happened the video isn't there. Happened all the time at work.

Glad that you keep an eye out for your neighbors, I try but there's a point of diminishing return.

Now with that said, I hope this isn't you in short order (especially not the suit)

The videos are all live & feed to my cell & laptop. They are controlled from my cell. Once someone or something enters the zone, I have the live feed on my cell in 4 to 6 seconds,,, anywhere in the world.
