Thread: Nap time...

I just woke up from a Turkey coma.

Yep, went comatose for a bit. A nice Nap by any standards

Ya I lost about an hour just a bit ago, I just woke up. Tc

Im still waiting for Dinner. I told the wife years ago that having dinner at lunch time just dont work for me. So we wait until later. Also keeps her from running out and trying to find those deals at the stores as shes still cooking. Works for me!

I think there are still some who have it later, but with large family gatherings its way easier to have it at 2 pm or so, gives s time to visit , watch football, drink some drinks while it's still sunup, and gives all the best with children time to get home and put them to bed or go back to the hotel. Thanksgiving is the only holiday I ever took for my whole time n the oilfield, we all get together, from my dad all the way down to his great great granddaughter, we usually have 26 or more this day. I love it. The not 2 we didn't have was my son in aw and oldest grandson, they were on shift at the firehouse today. Love this holiday now for football, drinks with my dad and brother, 1 grandson , everyone else is gone. Tc

Yea, I went MIA for about 2 hours. Up late, up early and told the kids to pack up what they wanted, put away what they didn't and leave the dishes for me. Then it was zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz time. I heard the two little grandkids for just a few minutes and then nothing.

Still a little groggy but I've got the first round of dishes going. Soon as they are done time for Round 2. Actually not that many this year, I must have done something wrong.

Two words...Merry Maids! Totally worth it.
