I worked at a recycling place that had a Eddie current system. Very large earth magnets. A conveyor belt carried things (small metal of all kinds along with dirt and foam rubber etc.) and basically threw this stuff over the magnet at a speed that the non metal things went farther than the metal. some how the magnet slowed the metal down enough to separate it from the other stuff. I really can't explain it to well but if you could see it in action you could under stand. I wonder if that is what got this whole thing started. This is the second one to come out.

That's what the wife has said all these years and now there's proof.

Back when I was a NEW Newbie, there was a member who was having his back fused for the second time. Another member posted a pic of the screw that would be used. Seems the poster worked in the industry and posted that Each Screw cost $2500. Seems that the company justified the cost to cover R&D plus they had a representative in the operating room to guide the Dr to make sure that those screws would be properly installed.

Hell, give me that $10 aspirin any day.

    Good luck with your procedure.
Being a recipient of a fair bit of titanium myself, all in my scull and wrist. I can attest to the bones ability to fuse to the titanium. My Dr shared with me that that’s partly why they moved to ti from s.s. With respect to pins and retainments in the body..
Those magnets at work could be affecting the fusion process to some degree for sure I would think.
Had an MRI shortly after all the ti was installed, and yeah very unpleasant ‘pulling” sensation as the tech mapped out the areas he didn’t want to pull full magnetic power on.
Will never willing have another mri if there are other options available..
Again sir, best of luck that this is the last one.
