    Default New Years Plans?

Are you guys gonna bring in the New year in style?

In these parts we haven't had a drop of rain in 3 months so Cousin Festus has to spend New Years Eve diggin the well deeper so we don't run out of water. Then my buddy Mr L has one of his busiest days of the year so he's gone with his sidekick Mr Mort. to parts unknown.

Usually we all party and some of the relations like to go into the National Forrest and roust some poor hibernating bear and roll him down a hill and then run for your life.

I think I'll just watch the twilight Zone this year.

What are you going to do?

    Have a beer.
    Have a bourbon.
    Watch the Three Stooges marathon.
    Watch the ball drop.
    Go to bed.

    Happy New Year everyone!

I'll be drinking cheap whiskey and honing razors. I'd really like to try out some bear rolling, though.

Getting the little ones down and in bed hopefully by 10:30 or so.
But will enjoy a drink and a fine cigar to usher out the old year.

At the expected -16F or -26 C, and at my age, I plan to watch the proceedings on the telly. Then i can go to bed and stay warm. JMO. Too many around here are all for drinkin' and drivin' so I be a good boy! YMMV
Enjoy the coming of the new year in whatever manner it means for you to enjoy the turn of the year !

I plan to be on the Empire Builder somewhere between Devil's Lake and Dickinson ND at midnight. I'm at the Vancouver WA station right now waiting for the trip to begin.

There were the days when we enjoyed a nice dinner, dancing, and celebrating the new year with one of our favorite bands. Now after fifty years of marriage the old folks rarely make it past 10:30 or 11:00.

Staying home and enjoying a nice Chinese home cooked meal. Could care less if I stay awake till mid night. We are under a cold weather advisory, as is much of Canada. Welcome to the new year just like the old year, weather wise at least.
