I don't tour like I used too and if I were to but a new bike I'd probably get a Janus for those quick trips and just to get out on a nice day. LOL

Very nice prop to the Janus Moco.. If I don't end up buying a new or newer motorcycle by next year I'm thinking of adding a Janus for quick/short in town scoots... My buddy bought one at the end of last riding season (for those of us who don't ride all year) and it is effing cool..!!! For those who don't know about Janus motorcycles look them up.. Made right here in the states.. They are a company I expect the younger millenials to buy into.. Harley take note, this is the entry level bike you guys can bring to the table...

I have never owned a motorbike and probably never will but I feel it is a shame if an iconic brand like HD would be forced out of business. In the Netherlands more people than ever own a motorbike so there should be a market for HD here.

I think HD has a very tough challenge ahead of them. The motorcycle is a symbol of individual freedom and embodies it to those who ride them. Easy Rider. Buck the trend. I ride because I like to. If you don't like it, oh well.

Youth of today in general are shackled by groupthink. Whatever is acceptable in groupthought and in groupaction = Ok. Deviate from that and you're scum in the mind of your peers. Riding a Harley has stood for the opposite of this current sick...

Maybe it's as simple as Harley is Harley, Indian is Polaris. Never wanted to cover up my Harley and call it a gold wing. There fine for anyone who buys them, to each heir own. Some never got a chance to ride one and the mystique is drawing them. I have rode them for real, so a fake one isn't calling me. I rode the Indian before it was an Indian, they called it a Victory. Didn't like it then either. I will never worry about Harley going away, there are plenty of used out there still on the road or I'll just build a bike from scratch, I have the ability. But riding a Harley isn't just riding, I can do that on a gold wing, it's tradition, a mindset, it's the last Cowboys and freedom of the road that gets in your blood. Read my signature it says it all. Some will ride cages their whole life and will never get it, and that's ok, we don't need anyone else on our journeys, the group is doing just fine. Tc
