For a pi guy, You do show some mercy!

Supposed to be losing weight and lowering my cholesterol. Now I'm wanting some apple pie,
or pecan, or lemon meringue, or all of them at once...

Did you read the book “Life of Pi” or see the movie? The title character memorized the decimal expansion of Pi to an amazing number of digits.

It’s a math/science nerdy thing. March 14 is 3rd month 14th day, so 3.14 which represent the first 3 digits of pi. March 14, 2015 was 3.1415 which was the first 5 digits. We math geeks really celebrated that one!

Yup, I remember Pi from school math class. It was a file and forget thing for me and I never to my recall used it for anything in my life. I googled it and when it first started I was well out of school, had a family and was on the way to a divorce. Just never came up on the radar until now. Never too old to learn something new.
