Back from PAX Technology East in Boston
Had a great time in Boston for 5 days, small city that seems to really enjoy, "sirens"....LOL.
Great time, new technology in gaming, the VR stuff and hardware acceleration and chips coming out was fascinating, of course all the new gaming tech was fascinating as well.
Good to be home!

Thanked: 315Good to hear you had a safe trip and none of the sirens were for you. I haven't really kept up with gaming since back when I first got my PS2. It has been a DVD player for years (decade?) now. I got some games around here somewhere.
It is crazy how intense some games are. Life gives you enough stress with having some horror game keeping your stomach in knots for hours at a time!
Fallout? and "The Last of Us" looked really interesting.

Yeah these new games are really intense and incredible compared to what we grew up with. Long was cool, then it was Space Invaders if I’m not mistaken.
Ahhh memoriesLook sharp and smell nice for the ladies.~~~Benz

Thanked: 315My brother and I had a NES and later a Super NES. We had a game called Mario All Stars that had all the Mario games on it up to that point. Lots of fun. Someone gave me another Super NES in HS, but I don't know if it is operational since it doesn't have one of the cords. Next time I'm in AL I need to see what it needs and check eBay.

Thanked: 2284I'm a gamer....well, not as much as I use to. Had a group of guys that I use to go online with and play Call of Duty. We were good, and use to roll over teams pretty easily. I hop on the PS4 from time to time these days and get my arse handed to me now. Fortinite is the big game these days, but unfortunately most video games these days, like Fortinite and Call of duty, are plagued with in game purchases. The developers know exactly how to make money. They give you the basic weapons, gear, clothing at the beginning, but if you want the good stuff, you need to spend a little dough to get it. A lot of the games are solely based on this alone. It's all about the Benjamins now.

Used to sit playing Wolfenstein for hours....on DOS.
Decided to stay off after a while. I could really kill that thing.
Too addicting. No games since.
