R. Lee Ermey has passed away today of complications from pneumonia. He was of "Full Metal Jacket" fame and was 74 years of age. He was a Marine and will be missed by many. Semper Fi.

Thanked: 1936My retired Marine brother shared has a pic of him and Gunny while stationed in Japan for NCO school. He got to have a few beers with him in a more personal setting. He said he was a real down to earth guy, loved the Corp and Country.

He was an incredible man. Even had his own show. Here's one episode:
