Any Gravely tractor owners here?
The old garden tractor is getting real tired.
The new ones I'm seeing are looking pretty cheap.
Old Gravely's I've seen are built like Sherman Tanks.
I'm looking to find out anything from owners of these machines about their experience with them. How do they mow? Are they maintenance intensive? Are parts readily available?
I've heard nothing but pretty positive feedback about them.
I figured I'd ask before I take the plunge.
Thanks for any feedback.

Back in the 1960s I worked Summers for the NYC Parks Dept and we used Gravely lawn mowers. Then they were owned by Studebaker and yes they were built like tanks. They were very over engineered.
I have no idea about parts availability. I imagine the old ones are antiques now and the outfit has changed hands many times. Totally different now.No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

The old ones have a big following. I bet you an internet search will show you can get most anything for them?
