I will start by saying i did nothing wrong and the cop just did a quick inspection of my truck and trailer and let me go. But the lady in the Tesla is hating life about now.

Just before an entersection with a signal light she thought she would change lanes at the last second, into the passenger side of my truck. We were traveling about 30mph and i got a scratch on my aluminum step about an inch long and a paint mark on the sidewall of my front tire. She lost a mirror, crushed the driver door and front fender and got hauled away on a tow truck.

I contacted my boss after i checked to be sure she was ok and he was on the scene before the cops were. Im in the clear, not at fault and i got her to sign a form stating that she was at fault. We carry these in the insurance folder. So no personnal injories but shes got to deal with an insurance company and repairs on an exspensive car.

The funny thing is, ive hit bumps in the road harder than what i felt when she tapped the side of my truck. So to all those people out there, dont try to out run a semi at the last second as we might not even notice/feel it when we crush your car!
