I always say beer and Ebay don't mix.....
I also say the time to buy something is when you see it!
Seems I look at and research things on a non-beer basis. Things I want.
3 or 4 beers, and I tend to pull the trigger.
Seems to work. Hardly any disappointments, so far!

Thanked: 292I tend to do a lot of research before making any purchase. Many times I will put an item in my shopping cart and then delay making the purchase unless it is something I really need, rather than something I want. Sometimes I go back and remove an item from my cart, either because I decided I no longer want it at this time, or because I have found something I want more.
I have several Amazon Echo (Alexa) devices, but refuse to set them up to allow purchases because it makes draining your bank account far too easy. Financial advisers say the best way to save money is to make purchases using cold, hard cash. When you see the cash disappearing from your wallet, you are less likely to make hasty purchases.

Thanked: 101Yup, my brother discovered amazon and it was nuts for a while. He likes his natty light (I call it natty shyte) and he bought all kinds of craziness online. I did get a SAECO lead hardness tester for my birthday one year from him however.....

Aloha!
You'd THINK I was ordering shaving supplies while drunk - judging by the ERRORS in my orders that my local Amazon Warehouse has been sending me. There is a NEW Distribution Center near me, with lots of NEW Employees. I realize it's a tough job shipping hundreds of thousands of orders a week, but yikes. Every single shaving order has been wrong since the warehouse opened.
I order Cremo Cooling, they send Cremo Original. I order Feather Yellow 5 pack, I get 1 pack but still charged for 5. I order Proraso Azure Lime Cologne, they send me After Shave Balm instead.. It's crazy bad lately. Hopefully it gets straightened out.
Yes, they promise to make it right, but that means you have to get to a UPS Store and ship back all the wrong product. Amazon used to be amazing. I went over a decade with NO errors on ANY orders. Now every single order is wrong. As I said, YIKES!Last edited by ZipZop; 08-03-2018 at 06:46 PM.
