    Default Canada's Hundred Days

One hundred years on it is too easy to forget this important event in Canada's military history. I hope all Canadians give some thought to the achievement and sacrifices made by the Canadian Corp in this battle which ultimately ended the war to end all wars.

Sadly, yes when you look at the 20% casualty rate.

Here’s to the Canadiens lest we never forget their sacrifice and honor.

    If I read it right.

20% of the Canadian casualties for the whole war.

Closer to 50% for this period.

Thanks for bringing this up! My mother who is 90 still speaks about the war very often. She was in her teens at the time the Netherlands were under German rule. Still full of praise for all those who liberated the country in 1944 and 1945.
