Thanked: 9Lost 2 yrs of my life today
Well, kind of...
Long story short, I said that I'm 31 and my wife almost jumped 'What are you talking about? You're 33!"
I figured it out - some time ago my older daughter calculated that I am 31 and told me so, and I remembered the number. I guess it was 2 years ago
Cheers

lol. Getting old sucks don't it. It could be worse though. Before I opened this thread I was afraid that you were convicted of some kind of crime having to do with a sharp object and I would not get to talk to you for a while.

Oh when I was 22 I didnt even know how good I had it! I took a bit of time off from the forums to catch up with some of my other hobbies because I was dedicating all my spare time to SRP. I have pretty much quit buying razors unless they are very unique or rare so I am happily shaving away and not posting as much because I mostly know what I am doing and not looking to buy anything, but I still have to get on here more often!

My uncle has a similar funny story.
He spent around 24 years in the Navy and always regretted spending so much time away from home.
On his 30th birthday he was feeling rather depressed and so he called him mother, my grandmother.
He said to her
" You know mom, I just can't help but wonder where my life is going. I just turned 30 and my wife left me, I lost custody of the kids and I'm getting sent on a 1 year deployment so I won't get to see you when I had planned."
Granny said...... " You're 31 Fred".
He went and looked it up and sure enough, 31!
Just goes to show the odd sort of tricks the mind can play.

That's okay, this year my wife had her 27th birthday for the fifth year in a row. Too bad for her the kids are good at math. But that doesn't stop me from correcting the kids every time it rolls around in March.
