Back in the mountians
About 6 months ago I started driving for a new Fuel hauling company. They knew I have spent years driving the Rocky Mountains hauling fuel so they jumped on having me work for them. They asked me if I would like to drive the mountains again. I told them that if I have a choice, NO! I've done my time, and have earned the ability to NOT have to do it anymore. They agreed and have kept me down in Denver for the last 6 months. NOW, The snow is starting to fly up there and all the guys that were driving the mountains on the warm sunny days are getting scared and whining.
So, The Gasman strikes out for the snow again. Damn! Oh well, I knew it was too good to be true and they know I can do it safely, so here I go again.
I Thought I'd share a few pics of the roads I travel when the snow is just starting to fly, as it looks a lot worse with 12ft snow banks and covered in 6 inches of ice!
A ride with the Gasman... Bet you wish you could do this all winter long, hauling a big bomb. LOL. I must be crazy.
Keep in mind, I now work a night shift. So this will be done in the dark most the time. It's just Sharpening, right?
