It's a fly-drive self-catering holiday (what ELSE with a 5-y-o and 1-y-o?! ). Fly to Rome Saturday morning, pick up a rental*, drive 2 hours to a village just off the lake next to Perugia, stay in a self catering apartment there.

Tuesday we'll drive to Perugia, it'll take 45 minutes max. As for whether I'm picking anything up... weeeelllll... some time back I did start this thread. That's all I'm saying for now.

*Why is it when I'm on this forum I write American? I never say stuff like "pick up a rental". Over here it's a hire car. Hmmmm.
