    Just looked it up.

    Both are correct.
    Satay is more traditional.
    Sate is more modern.

    I see it online spelled Satay but I distinctly remember them spelling it Sate.
    I wonder which is correct or if both spellings are used??

    I find recipes online using both spellings--

    You say 'Tomahto' I say 'Tomato' as long as it tastes good, what the hay.
