My mom used to take leftover turkey, chop it up and add chopped hard boiled eggs, some mustard, chopped onion but instead of Mayonnaise she used 'Miracle Whip' as we never had mayonnaise. I was so glad when I was out on my own and found mayonnaise.
The ONLY time I use Miracle Whip is my macaroni salad calls for a bit of it. When my youngest daughter first watched me make it she was aghast! I told her to trust me as it was only a little and the majority was Mayonnaise. She loved the mac salad. Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

Miracle Whip is a big No No in our house!
Don't laugh....
Way back in the day we used to take the somewhat dry turkey white meat and make :
Turkey and Peanut Butter Sandwiches.
Sounds horrible but they are pretty darn good. Kind of remind me of Sate, if you ever had meat cooked in peanut butter/sauce.

Years ago i was reading a magazine that readers would write in to and tell about a certain dish they had at a restaurant and ask if the magazine could get the recipe for it.
One was for 'Sesame Chicken' and the recipe used 'Tahini' but said that peanut butter could be used but wouldn't be nearly as good.
Since I'd never used Tahini I made the dish using peanut butter and it was very good. So I decided to splurge and buy the tahini and give that a go.
I must say that I do prefer the tahini but the peanut butter isn't far behind. Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

Jeff Smith who was the TV chef 'The Frugal Gourmet' said that he loved peanut butter sandwiches BUT they had to be made with toast. I've tried it and it does change things up.
So maybe some warmed up turkey then room temp peanut butter spread on fresh from the toaster toast and topped with the warm turkeyOur house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.
