Winter is always a challenge in the northland. It is certainly not for the weak. I spent 2 hours cleaning off 12” of snow off my roof this morning which is better than what we went through last winter. Ice dams with our ceiling leaking in the house in 3 different spots.
Most years I enjoy the challenge as it separates the men from the boys but last year about did me in and we were talking about moving south. Luckily it was just a momentary lapse of reason.What a curse be a dull razor; what a prideful comfort a sharp one

The forecast is for -0 F temps around here his next week.

We will join you middle next week. You are right, I too would rather deal with the cold than sleet and snow.
